Agents & fleets
Status: work in progress.
An agent runs either in this tab (it stops when you close the tab) or in the cloud, where it keeps running after you close the tab. It decides under guardrails you set and executes under guardrails it cannot remove; you can override a single block, visibly.
Creating one
The Me page's roster is the create door. "New agent" mints a draft that is safe by construction — signals mode, paper book, empty universe — and opens the create stage: identity, strategy, universe, funds, safeguards. Every field commits live; the draft is a real record from the first keystroke, and "cancel creation" is the one act that deletes it.
What a run is
One tick is one run: the agent reads the market, the deterministic signals
fire (or not), and the run ends executed, hold, blocked, proposed,
skipped, or error — every outcome recorded with the context it saw, so
the decision log explains itself later.
Guardrails
Budget ceilings, daily spend caps, cooldowns, price-impact ceilings, and the book lock (an agent that opened a position in the paper book cannot strand it by switching books mid-run). Blocking is visible: the feed says what blocked, why, and — where the block is overridable — hands you the key.
Fleets
Running agents together is the fleet console: a fleet holds members, a shared balance with a line per member, a coin universe that is the union of its members' universes, and per-member safeguards. Fleet starts follow the same arming law as single agents.
The book question
Every agent trades either the paper book (simulated fills, real quotes, costs charged so the result isn't flattering) or the live book (real chain: in this tab your wallet signs each trade; in the cloud the agent's keeper wallet is used — see Your agents). The book an agent trades is stamped on every fill and every record — the analytics never blur the two.
