Poly Credit
Status: work in progress.
Poly Credit is the AI wallet: a stable-coin balance an agent can spend, with a ceiling it cannot argue with.
The card
Every wallet gets a card — the token card. Four fields, printed:
- top left — the Poly mark and "Poly Credit"
- top right — ISSUED, month and year
- bottom left — CLIENT, the handle you chose
- bottom right — BRANCH — Account, or Agent for a branch card
The card is an identity document, not a decoration: every field is derived from a real record or rendered as a visible blank.
Branches
A branch is a derived address whose USDC balance is the agent's ceiling. Fund a branch with 500 USDC and its agent can spend at most 500 USDC — not because a guardrail promises so, but because there is nothing else to spend. Freeze is one switch: a frozen branch cannot draw.
Buying AI tokens
Stable coin in, usage credit out. The credit buys capability runs across the store — validation, search, fact-checking — priced per run, with the price and the permissions printed on every listing.
Why an agent cannot overspend
Because a branch can only pay from its own balance. Capabilities request; the wallet signs. The agent proposes a spend, the branch pays it if the balance allows, and the ceiling is the balance — arithmetic, not policy.
